Symptra — Delete Your Data

This page explains how to delete the data associated with the Symptra app (app.symptra.health) on Google Play.

Delete your data in the app

1. Open Symptra.
2. Open the menu and choose About & legal.
3. Tap Delete my data and confirm.

Deletion happens straight away. We delete any reports you sent us about AI answers and your anonymous app account from our servers, and then Symptra erases everything it stored on your phone — conversations, analysed lab reports, your health profile and food diary — and closes.

If you no longer have the app

Symptra has no accounts and does not collect your name or email address, so the data we hold on our servers is not linked to you personally and cannot be matched to you by email. Everything else was stored only on your phone and was removed when you uninstalled the app. Reports about AI answers are deleted automatically 180 days after they are sent. What may be kept

• Your daily allowance counter for the current 24-hour window, stored under a one-way hash, until that window ends — so deleting your data cannot be used to renew the free allowance. It is then deleted automatically.
• Technical request logs (including IP addresses), deleted automatically after about 30 days.
• Crash reports and anonymous usage statistics, kept for the standard Firebase retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.
